13 drivers fined for blocking the tunnel with motorcycles

Istanbul Traffic Control Branch of the Police Department conducted an operation targeting motorcycle drivers who posed a danger to traffic safety by blocking the Kasimpasa-Haskoy Tunnel with their motorcycles. 13 motorcycle drivers, whose identities were determined based on their license plates, were caught. A total of 133,745 Turkish Lira administrative fines were imposed on the drivers for "driving in the wrong direction", "parking inside the tunnel", "performing unauthorized acrobatic moves", and "not wearing helmet protective headgear". Additionally, legal proceedings were initiated against 9 drivers for the crime of "using transportation vehicles in a manner that endangers the lives and property of individuals". The moments when the drivers blocked the tunnel were captured by security cameras.
