Abdulkadir Uraloğlu: National Electric High-Speed Train to Hit the Tracks in 2025

Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced in a written statement that Turkey Rail Systems Inc. (TÜRASAŞ) was one of the 9 public institutions listed in Istanbul Chamber of Industry's 'Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises 2023' research. Uraloğlu emphasized that TÜRASAŞ, with approximately 4,000 employees in 3 regional directorates and a total of 370,000 square meters of closed area, continues to develop and produce national and local technologies. The Minister highlighted the production of the National Electric Train set, with a design speed of 176 kilometers per hour, adhering to international standards and intended for use not only in Turkey but also in other countries.
