Almanya: Türkiye NATO üyesi olarak güvenilir bir ortak olduğunu kanıtladı

Defense Minister Pistorius stated at the meeting of the Organization for Joint Armament Cooperation (OCCAR) in Bonn that "Turkey is a NATO partner and therefore an important ally on NATO's southeastern flank. They have always proven to be a reliable and very trustworthy partner." Pistorius also pointed out that Turkey has a very moderate and superficial cooperation with BRICS countries. Referring to Turkey's purchase of weapons from Russia, Pistorius emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue and promoting cooperation wherever possible. He also highlighted the need for European countries to invest more in their security in the future and preferably do so in a coordinated manner among partners. Pistorius mentioned his intention to continue serving as Defense Minister in the government to be formed after the general election on February 23, 2025, stating that there is still a lot of work to be done.
