Bayraktar: We Signed a Memorandum of Understanding to Develop Cooperation in the Energy Sector with Kyrgyzstan

Energy and Natural Resources Minister Alparslan Bayraktar announced on his X social media account that they accompanied President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan during his visit to Kyrgyzstan in the context of the 11th Summit of the Turkic States Organization Heads of State Council. Bayraktar stated that they attended the 6th Meeting of the Turkey-Kyrgyzstan High-Level Cooperation Council during the visit, where a memorandum of understanding was signed to enhance cooperation in the energy sector. He stated, 'Following the meeting, in the presence of President Erdoğan and Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov, we signed a memorandum of understanding with Kyrgyzstan Energy Minister Taalaibek Ibraev to develop cooperation in the energy sector between our countries. With this agreement, we aim to develop joint projects in the areas of energy, energy efficiency, and energy saving, and encourage private sector initiatives in various fields of energy, particularly solar, wind, and hydroelectric power.'
