British Airways Scandal: Cabin Crew Member Used Drugs During Flight

The scandal at British Airways involving a cabin crew member using drugs during a flight was brought to public attention by The Sun newspaper. The said cabin crew member, who was responsible for serving meals in the business class section of an Airbus A380 double-decker plane, went missing for a while. Upon search, the cabin supervisor found the crew member dancing naked in the business class restroom. It was reported that other crew members dressed their colleague in spare pajamas reserved for first-class passengers and then tied him to a seat in the first-class section. The crew member spent the remaining 10 and a half hours of the flight in that seat. In a statement regarding the incident, the UK Metropolitan Police announced that a 41-year-old man was detained on suspicion of being 'unfit for duty.' Concerned about the man's health during the journey, the cabin crew informed the police around 09:30. The suspect was taken to the hospital after the plane landed, received medical treatment, and was later released. However, the police investigation is ongoing. British Airways stated that the incident falls under the jurisdiction of the police, and they cannot comment further.
