GOT Actor Joins Freedom Flotilla to Gaza for Humanitarian Aid Mission

The Free Flotilla Coalition, a civil society organization, set sail for Gaza from the port of San Giovanni Li Cuti in the city of Catania with their 18-meter sailboat named "Madleen" as part of their mission to break the blockade and deliver aid to the region. Before departing, many people came to the port to show their support to the sailors with Palestinian flags in their hands. The sailboat carries 12 people, including Swedish activist Greta Thunberg and Irish actor Liam Cunningham. Thunberg described their mission as a "symbolic attempt to break the blockade" and emphasized the importance of fighting for a free Palestine. The sailboat is carrying powdered milk, medical supplies, and other essential aid to Gaza, aiming to reach Palestinian waters by passing through international waters. The coalition stated that any attack or intervention on the unarmed and non-violent journey would be an intentional and illegal act against civilians.
