Internet Disrupted in Central and Southern Gaza Due to Israeli Attacks
Palestine Telecommunication Company "Paltel" expressed its regret in a written statement that internet services have been disrupted in the areas of Khan Younis and Deir al-Balah due to Israeli attacks. The company's teams are working to restore the services as soon as possible. The communication services, including landlines, mobile phones, and internet, have been frequently interrupted in Gaza Strip since the Israeli attacks began on October 7, 2023. The attacks have resulted in the deaths of at least 41,431 Palestinians, including 16,795 children and 11,378 women. Thousands are still trapped under the rubble, and civilian infrastructure such as hospitals and educational institutions where people sought shelter are being targeted and destroyed.
