Israeli airstrikes on Gaza overnight result in dozens killed and injured

According to the official Palestinian news agency WAFA, the Israeli army launched attacks with artillery shells on many points including the tents of the displaced in the southern city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip. At least 2 Palestinians were killed and 10 others were injured. Israeli forces continued the attacks in the center of Rafah, demolishing buildings with warplanes or explosives. Israel's intensive attacks on the Mevasi area stretching from Han Yunus to Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip resulted in casualties and injuries. Many families had to flee from their shelters once again. The occupation artillery also launched intense artillery attacks on the Nusayrat Refugee Camp and its surroundings in the middle of the Gaza Strip. Many people, including children, were killed and injured. Israeli tanks stationed in the Netzarim axis in the south of Gaza also fired artillery shells at the neighborhoods of Zeytun, Tel el-Heva, Sheikh Ajlin, and Sabra from the early hours of the morning. Many Palestinians, including children and women, who were killed and injured, were transferred to the Al-Ahli Baptist Hospital in Gaza City. Israeli military helicopters also fired heavily at many houses belonging to Palestinians in the Zeytun neighborhood. While health teams continue search and rescue operations in the targeted areas, there is no clear information yet on the number of dead or injured. The Ministry of Health in Gaza had announced on June 20 that at least 37,431 Palestinians, including 15,517 children and 10,279 women, were killed in the attacks Israel has launched on the Gaza Strip since October 7, with 85,653 Palestinians injured. Thousands of dead are still under the rubble, while civilian infrastructure is also being destroyed by targeting hospitals and educational institutions where the people have taken shelter.
