Provocative Israeli Minister implies that the deaths of 2 million Gazans from starvation could be 'justified'. According to The Times of Israel, known for his provocative style, Smotrich argued at a conference organized by the publication 'Israel Hayom' that humanitarian aid should be blocked to the Gaza Strip, which has been under genocidal Israeli attacks since October 7. Implying that the deaths of all Gazans who have been suffering from hunger and famine for months due to Israel's intense attacks and interference with humanitarian aid would be 'legitimate', Smotrich stated, 'In the current global reality, we cannot manage a war. Even if it were just and moral, no one will allow 2 million civilians to die of hunger until our hostages return.' Minister Smotrich pointed out that the international community will not allow the prevention of humanitarian aid to the region, and emphasized that Israel needs international legitimacy to continue its attacks on Gaza. The extreme right-wing Minister, who advocates for Israel to take full control of the entire Gaza Strip, stated that the goal should be to secure control over all of Gaza. At least 39,583 Palestinians have died in Israel's attacks on Gaza since October 7, including 16,314 children and 10,980 women, with 91,398 others wounded. Thousands are reported to still be under the rubble, and civilian infrastructure is being destroyed by targeting hospitals and educational institutions where people seek shelter.
