Israeli Occupation Forces Demolishing Palestinian Homes in Nur Shams Refugee Camp
Israeli occupation forces are demolishing homes owned by Palestinians in the Menshiyye neighborhood of the Nur Shams Refugee Camp, according to eyewitnesses. The Israeli army has announced its plan to demolish 106 buildings in the Tulkarm and Nur Shams refugee camps in the West Bank, sharing this demolition plan with Palestinian officials. Following the ceasefire agreement in Gaza that came into effect on January 19, the Israeli army initiated an attack named 'Iron Wall' on January 21 in the northern city of Jenin and the nearby refugee camp in the occupied West Bank. The attacks were expanded to include Tulkarm, Tubas, and surrounding refugee camps within a few days. Israeli soldiers, who have been occupying Palestinian territories since October 7, 2023, have caused the deaths of over 960 Palestinians, including 171 children, through their attacks. The Israeli army continues its intensified raids and assaults in many areas of the West Bank, including Jenin and Tulkarm.
