Minibus carrying public personnel collided with a car: 18 injured

Burak N. driven minibus carrying public personnel collided with the car driven by Halil İbrahim N. near Çeltek village connected to the center. Upon notification, health, AFAD and gendarmerie teams along with an ambulance helicopter were dispatched to the scene of the accident. In the accident, 12 teachers, 2 doctors, and 1 midwife in the minibus, as well as 3 people in the car, were injured. After the initial intervention at the accident scene, the injured were taken to hospitals in the city by health teams. Governor Yılmaz Şimşek, who arrived at the scene and received information from the authorities, said in a statement to the press that health, AFAD, gendarmerie, and fire brigade teams along with the ambulance helicopter reached the scene immediately after the accident. Governor Şimşek stated that the accident occurred as a result of a collision between the minibus carrying 15 public servants and the car carrying 3 citizens. He said, 'All 15 of our public personnel in the minibus and the 3 citizens in the private vehicle are injured. We will visit our injured shortly at the hospitals. All of our injured have been transferred to hospitals. Get well soon.' It was also learned that the drivers of the vehicles were cousins.
