Technical Issues at Airports in Germany Cause Discomfort for Passengers

Federal Police's Information to Bild newspaper stated that due to technical malfunctions at airports in Germany, manual processes are being carried out, leading to long queues. The reason for the system crash is not yet known and efforts are underway to fix it. WDR television highlighted the long queues at security areas at Düsseldorf Airport, mentioning that entry for non-Schengen countries is currently not possible.
