The number of electric vehicle charging sockets is on the rise

The Energy Market Regulatory Authority's (EMRA) 'Charging Service Market Monthly Statistics' report for March revealed that the total installed power of charging stations increased by 2.13% to 2,008 megawatts compared to the previous month. In March, the total number of sockets increased by 2.3% to 28,717 from the previous month's 28,079. The number of AC charging sockets rose by 2.2% to 16,900, while DC charging sockets increased by 2.3% to 11,817. The number of electric vehicles also saw a rise from 207,989 in February to 220,258 in March.
