Trade and retail sales volume increased in February

The Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK) has announced the trade sales volume index for February. Accordingly, the trade sales volume increased by 2.5 percent compared to the previous month in February. During this period, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles, as well as repair, increased by 1 percent, wholesale trade sales volume by 3.4 percent, and retail trade sales volume by 1.1 percent. The trade sales volume saw a 6.5 percent increase in February compared to the same month last year. During the same period, the sales volume for wholesale and retail trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles, as well as repair, decreased by 3.6 percent, while wholesale trade sales volume increased by 6.1 percent and retail trade sales volume by 12.2 percent.
